Went for an oil change and a software recall. Things went smoothly at first, and they came to me earlier than expected. However, the manager told me I needed air filters and to clean the corrosion off of my battery terminals. I said I'd think about it.
He came back a few minutes later and told me he gave me the wrong information, and that I actually had a bent rim and a nail in my tire. I said "now that I'll have fixed."
He went off for about half an hour and told me I was done. I went to pay and aw they'd listed the tire plug and rim as "customer declined." The woman at the counter told me I had to wait for the manager to come back, which I did. He said I'd told him not to do the work, and I explained that was the air filters. He argued that it was everything, but then apologized and said they could do the work now. I asked what had been going on the last half an hour if they hadn't been working on the tire and didn't get an answer, so I just said I'd get the tire patched elsewhere.
To top things off, after I paid, the cashier told me my keys were in my car. It was there, but there were no keys, so I found the manager, who brought me over to the server station and gave me my keys - which had been left our for someone to give to me..
I can't say anything bad about the quality of the work, and the friendliness of most of the staff is fine (could be better at the service e reception desk), but things seem highly disorganized. I'm also concerned that if I authorized the work I was initially told I was needed, they wouldn't have told me it was an error and would have still pressed to additional work.
