I wish I could give them a zero. In September 2018 I made reservation at a Holiday Inn in Orlando. The representative asked if I would like to take advantage of a 3 nights stay at their exclusive resort for $199, and it is good for one year. I asked him if any strings were attached to this promotion, and he said no. I went ahead and did the booking. Around the end of October 2018 I called and reserved November 3, 2018 - November 7, 2018 to stay in Orlando. I was told that we have to attend a 2 hours session for soliciting the sale of Timeshare Interest. I informed the associate that I am not interested in buying any timeshare at this time, and he said if we do not attend our credit card will be charged. I was very upset, and I informed him that if they had mentioned this to me initially I would not have paid the $199. We went to Orlando on November 3, 2018 and when we got to the hotel I said to my husband (Oscar) this is not a resort. They booked us into a roach coach on highway 192. I was furious when I went into the bedroom. I immediately called customer service, and told them about the condition of the hotel, and I mentioned that we were suppose to be in a resort, and the associate told us to wait, so she can contact her supervisor. She came back on the phone and told us she had a new location for us. I went to the new location, and once again it was not a resort. I was so angry, and disappointed all weekend because I did not enjoy myself. I told my husband we will stay until Tuesday to attend the meeting to avoid them from charging our credit card.

On Tuesday October 6, 2018 we went to Orange Lake Country Club for the meeting at 12:30 p.m. I met with a sale person by the name of Darin. It all started out good, and I mentioned my frustration about what happened to us, and he said how sorry he was and normally that is not their way of doing business. Upon completion of the tour I truly enjoyed the overall setting of the country club however, I still had a bad taste in my mouth about how they went about business initially. I told my husband we are not going to make any purchase until I do some research about this place. The sales person (Darin) was very bumptious, and once again I started getting upset. I firmly told him we need to think about it, and he said intelligent people do not think about things they just make a decision. I immediately told him that I have a degree in management, therefore I am intelligent and regardless of what he thinks we are not buying the timeshare until we do some research. He called another person over, claiming he will check us out. We followed that individual to another area, sat down with him and went over what took place earlier. He left us at a desk and another person came trying to persuade us. I told the last person we met with, that we need to leave, and once again he tried to persuade us. I finally told him in a firm tone that I need the $150 they promised us, so I can leave. Again, they did not honor their agreement. They gave us $100, and some points. I am extremely disappointed with Holiday Inn Club Vacation, and they have left a very bad taste in my mouth about buying a Timeshare. I asked to speak with a manager and was ignored. People be aware of this place. They are very dishonest, and uncaring. They value money more than people, very unethical company.
