What a different St Agnes hospital then I use to know, 10/4/19 went to e/r for back pain I was asked for my social security number in an open lobby area and when I couldn t remember it and I tried to give my last paperwork and military ID and insurance card she told me without looking at it I can t do anything with that, triage staff was great, registration was great took paperwork and military ID and insurance card she verified everything made copies and did it courteously, nurses were great, transportation to x-ray great, x-ray technician great, emergency room physician assistant was rude and dismissive and seemed bothered that I did not want narcotic or muscle relaxer or steroids when I had not had an X-ray and I m a diabetic and had not eaten or took any of my medications so I requested to have an X-ray after PA asked me what do you want and I ll leave you to decide as I have a phone call and she and scribe left, sent to wait in lobby until transport came to take me to x-ray after while PA comes out with discharge papers and X-ray results says X-ray looks good and gave a script for muscle relaxer that my husband and she had discussed mind you I m the patient. Leave the hospital driving home my phone rings it s the PA from St Agnes e/r saying she forgot to give me something for my UTI and do I have a pharmacy to which she can call me in an antibiotic Mind you my glucose was never checked and other then her calling my phone after being discharged and leaving the hospital I was not told that I had. UTI which can cause back pain as a symptom. In all fairness she did also say she could refer my to pain management or chiropractor. Almost all my doctors are through St Agnes and I use to work at St Agnes
