My son Bode is enjoying the 1st session / 3 weeks, he is 8 turning 9 this summer. We had the privilege of meeting all the councilors at a dinner the night before opening day. This camp is TOP NOTCH, they employ a TON of councilors- for the younger campers the ratio is like 1 per 3 kids. The young men and ladies they employ are all well mannered, energetic and mostly from the UK and other places around the world with beautiful accents :) On opening day the greeting was fantastic so much for my son to do he barely wanted to say good-bye. The camp does an excellent job showing daily photos and blogging to keep parents happy. I've seen my son go on a hike and river rafting within the first 2 days. All smiles!!! He sent a letter thanking us for sending him and is so happy to be there no mention of home-sickness at all! He is doing more in 1-week at CCB than we could do in an entire summer- with young enthusiastic role models abound! This is something definitely worth doing! We'll be back in 2016 for sure!!!
