Horrible hospital as far as the nursing staff and especially the para nursing staff are concerned. Had a right total knee replacement there, a couple of years ago, the para nursing staff did not change the linen, nursing staff kept me sedated so that I could not ask for help with anything, water to wash up brush teeth, nothing. Aroused by a nurses aide rummaging through my drawer, when I woke up she hurried out. Overheard a nurses aide questioning a nurse why she told the doctor I wanted my catheter out - "now we are going to have to take her to the bathroom". Asked for my sheets to be changed and was told by the nurses aid that she would be right back. I never saw her again - the professional nurse made my bed.
Doctors too busy to really take time - never again.
