So checked into this place around 7:30 with a 3 mo...

So checked into this place around 7:30 with a 3 month old cat who's been vomiting and had diarrhea all day. Came in with a stool sample so they could run a fecal. We were brought into a room within ten minutes of being here by a tech named dan who got the initial information from us and checked weight and temperature. We were then told by him that they were busy tonight and we might be waiting a little while (he did not take the sample to run the fecal which could have been done while we were waiting). TWO AND A HALF HOURS later with NO COMMUNICATION my mother finally went into the lobby and had to stare someone down and ask for an eta on when we would be seen. The doctor had no idea we were even here (super lovely) THANKS A BUNCH FOR THAT DAN. The doctor came into the room with us and decided a fecal needed to be ran....yet again I feel as though Dan maybe dropped the ball here as I said before, this could have been done during the two and a half hours we were waiting to be seen. After the decision to run a fecal was made another tech came in to try to tell us that the two teaspoons of poop we brought was not enough to run more than a direct at which point my mom offered to run it for them as she mentioned to them that she has been a vet tech for the last nine years. Then suddenly, there was enough to run the full four. I just love magic ;) So three hours into our journey, we are still waiting and will probably be here for a while. So just a heads up - anyone coming in should maybe bring a sleeping bag and some water and snacks, portable did player maybe, oh and of Dan checks you in maybe just turn around and go somewhere else . On the bright side the actual veterinarian is very nice and apologetic, just wish I had met her two and a half hours earlier!
