Ripped Off! Live and Learn.
My first time at Lin House, and the food was awful!! Is this what happens when food is made too quickly?? I am not a student, but an older person who has eaten both Mandarin/Cantonese food worldwide. I ordered Shrimp egg foo young. When I got it home, one of the patties was thin, and fell apart. Everything was extremely too greasy. I asked for extra gravy--for which I was charged; but the gravy tasted terrible too. I also ordered large egg drop soup--one can't go wrong with that, with extra fried noodles--for which I was charged.
I'll save the soup, but the egg foo young, and gravy, will be thrown out. I won't come back here. How disappointing! There are some great Chinese restaurants in the New River Valley; I wouldn't list Lin House as one.
