Definitely a worthwhile experience. Tickets weren't too expensive, they were $18.50 each for the pedestal tickets. The tickets to the crown were a little more, however, you need to book those at least 4-6 months in advance. You can take a ferry from New Jersey, or New York. The ferry takes you to Ellis island as well. Had a lot of fun, took lots of pictures, and bought a lot of souviners.
