Very unprofessional behavior from staff in the orthopedic trauma clinic. And if you talk to the patient relations department, there's no attempt to resolve the issue, you'll just get a certified letter saying the clinic will no longer see you and you have to find another Dr who can. Nevermind the staph infection in the surgical site, the patient is punished for the hospital staff's behavior. Sounds like that may qualify as malpractice, but I'll have to look into it. They also find sneaky ways to increase your bill, such as charging for blood work to determine your blood type again each time they run labs (your blood type doesn't change), as if they aren't overcharging for everything else to begin with. That being said, off campus UAMS clinics have been much more helpful and professional, even apologetic for the behavior of their counterparts. It would be a shame for bad reviews of UAMS to reflect on them as well.
