I will not recommend this apartment for many reasons:

(1) They wrongly sent me a letter of eviction. The billing and the leasing failed to do their reconciliation. I was the first to contact them but no one was responsive and no was available to immediately address my concern. Rather someone who answered my phone hanged me up as he said that he was not the person to answer my query. I was expecting sincere apologies from Michele Placeres but it was the leasing consultant who did it on her behalf. I was thinking of whether filing a case against them as it was really traumatic experience for me who just moved to America. However, I assumed that it was an honest mistake, but such simple apology could not compensate the trauma and shock I experienced.

(2) Bad quality of the wall building - The building is not sound proof. It s difficult to sleep at night or even concentrate when I am studying. In the middle of the night, I often walked up hearing the footsteps of the tenant on the upper floor and I even knew when she's taking shower or not. That really sucks. I raised this concern and was possibly asking if I could move to another building or unit. To date, I have never received any response.

(3) Security reasons - Two mysteries occurred. My door has two locks. One day, I just locked the first lock. However, when i arrived home, I noticed that both were locked and the bedroom door which I knew I left open was closed. Second, my mom woke up one morning noticing that our door was open while we made sure that we closed and locked it before we sleep. We further requested for our lock to be replaced because previous tenants might have duplicates of our keps and due to these mysterious incidents. One day, we called and they said that they would replace it the following day. Unfortunately, to date, we didnt receive response. It has been more than a month when I raised it.

(4) Double gas meter??? - I'm wondering why I am receiving two gas bills with two different account numbers and both seem to be expensive compared to the first month of bill I have received. I raised this concern to the leasing consultant and instead of taking the initiative that they would figure it out with PGW, they told me that I should call. Why should I bear this burden when it fact it's not a mistake. This really sucks and gives me so much to worry. I tried my best to contact the PGW, but so bad that it's difficult to reach any of it. So to date, it s not yet fixed. Good thing that the second bill is under its name and I dont care if it s paid or not. I have raised this concern but I m tired of going there and back and getting nothing better results / solutions.

I was hoping that its management is accommodating and is customer-oriented. The apartment is so expensive when it compares to the quality of the building. This property management is so clever that it puts clause in my rent that I would have to pay 3-month rent in case I pre-terminate it. How I wish I could leave now. I have to suffer and endure their poor customer service til the end of my rent contract.
