We had Village Heating come and try fix and unblock the toilet in our new house. We hadn't moved in yet and needed the toilet fixed quickly. Firstly they were booked to come on Wednesday the 21st of June while I was at the house. They didn't pitch at the agreed time and when I phoned he said he was stuck at his first job. They then rearranged for the next morning, when no one was home. The plumber, Shyam didn't phone when he arrived and phoned twice around 10:00 to say he had spent 2 hours battling to remove our toilet to attend to a blockage and he would try a little longer and he finally managed. He then phoned 3 hours later to say the toilet is blocked and he can't unblock it. We were then left with a bill of 5 hours of work and didnt have a fixed toilet and then had to pay more for a drain specialist. We were made to pay over the phone because Shyam said he had spent the time at our home. This whole time no one had seen him working. Surely after a hour of work a good plumber would know he can't on block the toilet!!!! We were very disappointed. On arriving at our house we saw a wet/dry hoover at our front door and were disgusted to see that it was full of HUMAN FAECES!!!!! We phoned Village Heating complaint about having to pay for work that wasn't finished and were just told the time was spent at our house and that we also had to pay for the wet/dry hoover!!!! WE refused as we were not told about it. Village heating did not seemed phased about the hoover or bothering to come and fetch!!! This is outrageous. We will be reporting Village Heating to some higher plumber body. We did manage to get them to come fetch the Hoover but with no apology!!!
I will never use or recommend Village Heating EVER!
