I spent 5hrs here and still didn't get to see everything this place has to offer. It wasn't necessarily bc of the lines, because yes, there are a couple inside the museum, but because there is SO MUCH CONTENT. And it's always changing. Make sure you budget to also go in the Tea Room. I didn't know they had one until I walked in and i didn't bring enough money for it. Also, look out for places where you can bring your drawings to life. It's totay worth it, so keep your eyes peeled. Take your kids, a date, a friend, a family member, an enemy, or anime protagonist. Just know that everyone im your party will have a blast.
Some things that you might want to be aware of is the "borderless" quality of the museum. It's easy to get lost. You wont be able to easily find the place where you came in from which might be concerning for some. However, emergency exits are clearly marked and staff speak English so you can ask them to show you the way out. It's simple once they show you.
It's also difficult for maybe some people with certain handicaps. I would definitely ask the museum about handicap accesibility in advance.
