There are a lot of animals to see. There were many zoo talks and animal shows. We went there on our vacation in Kansas City over spring break. We were in from Lincoln, Nebraska. Our 9 year old son loved it and had a great time. His favorite animal was the sea lions. The Omaha zoo was building a new area for the sea lions which should be open this summer so he couldn't see them there last summer.
