The artwork and digital illumination is beautiful here, but lineups can be insane if you go during a busy tourist time, or any of Japan's national holidays. In the first week of January, with pre-paid tickets, I waited one hour to get in, and then several exhibits had a wait of 30-60 minutes. I saw about 60% of the displays in 3.5 hours and decided not to wait in another 1 hour line, so I ended up missing one of the most interesting/photogenic rooms. If I wanted to see everything, it would have taken 5 hours. Also, you can't enter the exhibit more that once, so there's no way to take a break for lunch, or until the crowds die down or whatever.:(
