Jonathan Cohen Review of Coral Springs Auto Mall
DO NOT purchase a car at Kia in this Auto Mall.
DO NOT purchase a car at Kia in this Auto Mall.
The experience I had and am still currently going through is a nightmare.
After purchasing a lease for a top of the line Kia Optima with in the first two weeks I had it in for servicing. I was told the wireless charging worked with iphones which one was of my reasons for upgrading due to the wires being so messy looking in the car. When I got to service department, they explained why iphones do not work with wireless charging and do not understand/keep addressing to the sales employees to stop telling customers otherwise. After hearing this I went inside the Sales Department to talk to a manager and to my surprised they were very shocked it does not work with an iphone. They were confused and said they never came across this. Very unprofessional considering they are the managers and had no idea. At this point I am getting frustrated with the situation and asked how could you not know the product you are selling to customers. From here the manager says "I don't know why your complaining you got the car at a good price". That is incredibly unprofessional to give an excuse about getting a good deal. I don't know how getting a good deal is an excuse for not receiving the product promised. At this point I am upset but am going to have to deal with it. Not a major issue with the car.
Fast forward another 3 months, I realized (super late, I was totally oblivious) that the car did not have front sensors, only back sensors. I could have sworn the car salesman told me they had them around the entire car. So I proceeded to call my salesman and ask her about it. To my surprised she was shocked they did not have sensors in the front. When confronting the managers they admitted they told me there were sensors all around the car. This now being the second time I was lied to directly and the sales employees pretty much shrugging their shoulders they can not do anything about it has got me to my last straw.
My lens in the front of the car cracked at 3 months old. I am unsure how considering the service department came to check it out and all agreed I was not hit and concluded there is no other damage to the car. They assume it was a small rock that jumped up while driving and cracked it. I have a warranty but to my surprise of course it is not covered under warranty. Instead I am told they need me to either go through insurance/ pay 890 dollars to get it fixed or do not get it fixed. The car is 3 MONTHS old. Never have I ever had so many problems with a dealership or car.
I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO STAR RATING IF IT WAS POSSIBLE.
