They are interested in doing business only if you have a large quantity of parts to be anodized. I had an aluminum bracket 4" x 1.5" x 1/4" (which is small) and was quoted $175 for black type II anodize. How are aspiring inventors and product developers supposed to see their dreams come true with these prices? If I was needing 100 brackets then the price would be justified. Why not just throw the 1 part in with someone else's bulk order?
