Recently I "attended" the famous polyclinic for the hospitalization of a relative ... the size of the complex, similar to that of many Roman quarters, at the beginning also displaces because the buildings are connected to each other by corridors, but in the 3 weeks of hospitalization I got to understand it ... First of all there are numerous external parking lots with the parking disc or you can reach it with the metro B. The emergency room is located in an ancient building with a wonderful staircase; in the back there is the waiting room with bathrooms and vending machines for coffee, drinks, food and sweets (unfortunately they only accept coins). Given the very large catchment area (central / east Rome) and the impressive number of departments (there is practically any specialization) there is a lot of chaos in the emergency room. The meals, cooked inside the immense kitchen located on the ground floor, arrive hot and taste good. I sincerely thank the whole emergency medicine department for their availability and kindness, here I found highly trained and educated staff, an extraordinary team made up of doctors and nurses who love their work. I was also impressed with the large number of staff for the night shift.
