My dealings with the court were professional, not personal, so my impressions are different than most people's. From what I've heard, most people find that the cases take far too long to complete, require too many appearances, that the staff involved can be inconsiderate, and generally don't care for the experience. Having worked there, I can tell you that these feelings are often incorrect, but that doesn't change what people think of the place. If the court has jurisdiction over a case of yours, you don't really have an alternative.
