My personal experience was horrible. You pay $63 a week for food, and a majority of it is sausage or Ramen, that the kids have to prepare. The most memorable of the rules was "Leave No Trace," meaning if your food hit the ground you had to eat it. Personally disgusted with the experience and treatment by terribly trained crew leaders. The kids are brainwashed into believing that they are being payed well, and that they must work hard to earn their WEEKLY shower at the local campgrounds. My crew leader crashed our bus my second week on the job. Would not recommend to anyone except minimal security prisoners.
