The Good: I'm more of a Hilton guy, but this Marriott was much better located than the Hiltons, so I stayed here. I'm glad I did! Location was perfect for walking, dining, and getting to local attractions, including the convention center which is connected via a skybridge. The staff were all wonderful, and I feel appreciated and valued. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Haven't had that good of a hotel breakfast in a long time. The room was actually spacious and laid out well. You could tell some planning went into the room and the planet was conscious of travelers' needs.i had a partial bay view, which was nice, but I wouldn't pay extra for it should I visit again. What was great though was that the windows in the rooms opened. So nice to be able to get fresh air. Wish the windows would have been screened though to prevent flying critters from getting in. All-in-all, a great place to stay should you be visiting the area.

The Bad: There were just three items, and they're really tiny, but I believe in full disclosure, detailed reviews. 1. To much light in the room at night. Light was bleeding in under the door. Easily handled with the rolled up bath mat. The wall behind the TV was going from the cable box. Not as easy to deal with, but manged by hanging my pants over the back of the dresser. Finally, a lot of light from outside, but the drapes handled it once I clipped them together with a clothes hanger. 2. The bed squeaked. Very minor, but something to consider if you today and turn, or if you are staying with someone special. 3. $25 a night for parking. Again, very minor, but if they tell me there is public parking for $7 right down the street, the hotel price should be a bit more reasonable, or I should get a free car wash or something.

The Ugly: There wasn't anything that would prevent me from staying here again.
