WEDDING ANNIVERSARY NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET EXPERIENCE! I called the front desk at noon to verify if someone could clean our room before we returned later that night. I was told yes. We came back to our room at apprx. 11:30 p.m. the room was not clean or attended to at all. Our room also had a terrible odor to it because of the garbage and damp towels. I called the front desk clerk (Rico) and was told management was gone for the evening and he was the only person on the premises. YIKES! Rico was very nice & brought up fresh towels & emptied the garbage, etc....but he could not give us CLEAN SHEETS. On our wedding anniversary night! YIKES! The next morning I called the front desk and asked for a manager. Greg apologized for the huge inconvenience and stated we would only have to pay for 1 night. Greg also stated Rico should have offered to put us in another room. Rico never brought that up. Our total stay was 3 nights. When we checked out we were charged for 2 nights and it was a HIGHER PRICE. I WANTED TO RIP THE ENTIRE PLACE OFF OF THE MAP! Greg the manager was not on the premises. The front desk clerk had to call him at home to figure out basic math.
We went thru Expedia. I called the hotel and confirmed dollar amounts 1 week before arrival. The front desk clerk was very nasty and I just could not take it anymore. We paid for 2 nights at the higher price and I am still waiting for the credit difference on my credit card. WE WILL NEVER PATRONAGE THIS PLACE AGAIN.....MIND YOU WE HAD BEEN COMING HERE FOR OVER 10 YRS! HYATT TAKE A HIKE!
