My arm was broken this summer by tripping on pins,...

My arm was broken this summer by tripping on pins, so I went to the Red Cross at the station first to bandage and stop the bleeding. With a lot of effort they put on my coat and they referred me urgently. When I arrived in St Lucas, I was sarcastically told to wait on the white line (I was panicking and wanted help quickly, I was told as a welcome: 'You want to wait on the white line') .
They asked for my passport and they wanted a signature (I am right-handed and that arm was broken ...) It is surprising that I was sitting there with an angry face!
I waited half an hour in the waiting room and while I heard a screaming girl come in, it was all hands on deck! In other words they won't treat you until you bleed and howl!
Finally it was my turn and the doctor sewed the wounds and asked me 'do you think your arm is broken', I said 'I don't know'. He kneaded my arm and said I would get back on it soon. I was sent home and during that night my arm started to swell enormously, went back to emergency the next day and THEN they thought it was a good idea to have my arm scanned.

Of course my arm was broken and in the end I got a cast that immediately soothed the pain. It was a mystery that people did not immediately see the seriousness and did not have a scan performed. Only if there is murder and fire do they take action faster.

Next time I will go to Sint Jan or any other place but never St Lucas again! Nursing in itself was friendly, but that was about it.
