Just had what I'd classify as the rudest, most unprofessional interaction with Idus David Smith of Bibb Tool. He had a used band saw for sale. I asked when I could look at it, at his convenience. He gave me the date/time. I came, with cash in hand, to look at. Some alignment was incorrect and the blade was rubbing constantly against the table insert. He said he had the owners manual, opened it and said the table could be moved out. We looked at the manual together and the table could NOT be adjusted in that way. He became flustered, as though he'd been caught, and immediately said that he had a bunch of people interested in it and repeatedly said he wasn't going to deal with people like me. I asked what he meant by that and he said he was busy and didn't have time for this. He asked me to leave. I left. On the way out, I told him his salesmanship was terrible and he lost a lot of money by behaving like a jerk (I'm fitting my shop with several new tools). You've been warned.
