Well, where do i start, the service and lies from the Hindhead dealership are absolutely shocking. I took my 4 year old 5 series to them as it had rust on ALL 4 doors. It took them over 3 weeks to input a claim to tell me when they can repair it. It was finally agreed and was told to bring it in and i can have a courtesy car to which i agreed but stated i needed something 4 door with having a young child. I was then told that they only had a mini, i am 6 3 and have a family so rightfully so i said no. They then put the booking back 3 weeks so i can have a 4 series which i was happy with. The day comes that the car is going in and i get a call saying they need to cancel it as the claim hasnt been authorised in time, i wasnt happy so i called bmw UK and was told it was input the day before the car was booked in and after the dealer telling me it takes 2 weeks. It was agreed and the work was done. I was then told it needed a recall which would take a morning to carry out. The car was in for 10 weeks! Bmw uk hired me a car from enterprise, everytime i called to check on things i was confronted with bad attitude from everyone and fed nothing but lies and they couldnt even give me a date of when the car was going to be ready. They then told me they dont even know when the parts are coming or when the car was due out. The parts finally arrived and i was told the car would be done the following week. The following week came and i called to check if they were on track and was met by rude attitude and excuses about staff sickness which isnt my problem, know one seemed to care. I was then told by a manager there that they were waiting for a car to not turn up to get the time to do mine to which i said wasnt good enough. I was told whoever told me that the car would be ready the following week was lying and getting my hopes up. I then had an arguement and had a follow up call from a manager and the car was done 2 days later. I went to collect it and recieved the car back still dripping wet where they have just hosed it off and still filthy covered in bits of tree and leaves and the inside still filthy. Absolutely shocking service and disgusting customer skills and i will never be using them again. I tried to put complaints in to bmw UK about the bodywork side and the service side and they did not care, they just gave me some rubbish about them being seperate than the dealers which is irrelevent it they are representing bmw. As for BMW as a company, they are meant to be a highly respected car company and value customers but what i found is they just dont care, dealers and bmw uk. Absolute joke and has put me off bmw completely.
