I started my residency process in 2017 (I still don't have a permanent one) and unfortunately I have to say that my experience in these offices has been unpleasant every time.
The officials who serve the public are not cordial, moreover, they are contemptuous, they talk to you in derision, in a rude way, they also waste a lot of time (gossiping, greeting the processors, passing people without a turn and drinking mate) they arrive late, do not provide information timely.
The toilet in the office is not adequate either, the bathroom, which is also shared, is not in clean condition.
A month ago I asked for information to renew my precarious residence ahead of time (because I have a trip) they told me that the only thing I needed was the copy of the air ticket ... today when I return to the office, they tell me that I must pay $ 1500 and that I do not need the ticket, because if I am requesting residence, I should not leave the country, this was the argument of the official, which is not true.
This office does not reflect at all the inclusion of the Argentine immigration policy, those of us who seek to legalize our immigration status deserve respect, and these procedures are not free, we are paying for a service.
