Not only is the owner unbelievably rude to her customers, she also is not good at what she does. She is a liar, a scammer, and a bully. My dress was a couple sizes too big, and when I told her that my measurements (that she had done) were written down incorrectly, she got an attitude with me. I had gained a few pounds since getting measured but she thought I had lost enough weight to lose 3 sizes. She was angry that my dress did not fit and accused and interrogated me about what I was eating, if I was exercising, even asked me what medications I was on. I was humiliated in front of other customers and my fellow bridesmaid and her employees. She continued to harass and interrogate myself and a fellow bridesmaid about our supposed weight loss for about 10 minutes until I finally gave her an answer to shut her up. She was obviously trying to bully me into thinking her mess up was somehow my fault, when she had written the measurements down wrong. I have never been treated so poorly by someone I was giving way too much money to. She also ripped the Bride s veil and denied it, she also did not tell the bride it was ripped until the bride asked to see it before leaving the shop. She had not said anything the entire time and let the bride pay for it and talk about it. She would have let the bride walk out with a ripped veil and then blame her for the rip later on. She charged the bride for things that were never received. She made the bride s mother pay for the plus size charge of the bridesmaid without talking to the bridesmaid (probably because the charge was never discussed and she made up the charge a month after telling her it was paid in full) She implied that she would not give the bride her dress if they did not pay for the bridesmaid s made up charge. She also convinced the bride we had to get the dresses that day or we would not be able to get them, even though it was almost a year before the wedding. It was absolutely a sales tactic, and it ended with us spending 3 times what we should have for dresses that didn t even fit, then having to pay even more for a seamstress to fix Karen s mistake. She body shamed one of the other bridesmaid. She loses all her paperwork and then makes up stuff when she can t remember what the agreement was. She made the bridesmaid experience so stressful for me and my fellow bridesmaids. I would never recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

Overall, she is just a liar and scammer. She did everything she could to lie and scam us for more money without delivering on anything she said she would.

If you care about yourself, your dignity, the clothes you wear, or the people you are bringing, DO NOT GO HERE. I do not understand how someone so rude to her customers and the people that work for her can still be in business. Humiliating someone giving you hundreds of dollars is not how to run a business. Her shop is crowded and unprofessional, sometimes with a kid running around. Standing around in a kitchen with dirty dishes is not how I imagined someone would want to choose a wedding dress. Especially if you live far, one bridesmaid had to drive 8+ hours total just to get her measurements and pick up her dress (3 times to get measured, once to pick up the dress. It was an hour away). If Karen knew how to take measurements, that would not have been a problem. I don t know how a seamstress is so incapable of taking measurements. I don t know how anyone, especially a person running a business that is based around clients happiness, could be so much of a bully. There was not one good thing about the entire experience. Myself and another bridesmaid ended up switching dresses because she had messed up the sizing so horribly! She then demanded more money for one of the dresses a month after we had paid in full (and gotten a receipt that said so) and had taken the dresses home. She did not even contact the owner of said dress, just demanded it from the person that was in the shop picking up the bride s dress.
HORRIBLE BUSINESS OWNER. DO NOT GO HERE.
