LIGHT & DARKNESS. Well, after some thought we need to say: that hotel was not what we as a family with younger kids (5/7 years) expected. After some 6 or so family hotel vacations in 4-star-hotels (Rhodes, Spain etc.), that one was the least appealing to us. Very disappointing: kids ANIMATION which was intransparent (what is happening where?), passive (kids/parents need to find the animators to get things moving...) and rather unspectacular. We think that this is more of an adult hotel rather than for kids (other than eg our travel agency TUI markets it). After some talk to the staff and (open & understanding) management it got a little bit better, but it did not become exactly good . Some examples: dark und uninviting mini club area, table tennis moved around so spa guests would not be disturbed. Limited free offers for kids but there is a games room that charges 1 per video game :-). 3 stars in the rating only because of: Great FOOD, friendly STAFF, great hotel POOL, redone ROOMs are good, the old ones are not (kind of the atmosphere when I went on vacation in the 1980s). EVENING SHOWS were rather unspectacular (karaoke etc.). To us, the friendly staff and the hotel s great seaside location saved our holidays, but we would not return for another stay.
