Extremely dissatisfied with my experience with this hotel. I stayed here for almost a full week recently
They lost a brand new phone $90 in the package with the receipt that I had spoken with Bryce the manager about and specifically requested to have it put aside for pickup and was told by one of the other employees he said he put it in the December lost and found but then they couldn't find it anywhere afterwards. That's not on me or something I should have to pay for. He only agreed to refund me half the cost of the phone, $45 even though that was clearly a mishap on his side. I want the full $90 refund or I will be contacting the better business bureau as well as advising my family and friends to not stay with Marriott anymore. I contact corporate and as usual they did nothing to resolve the situation. I have to be honest, I've stayed in close to over 300 hotels in just the last few years and Marriott customer service is THE WORST I have ever dealt with and that's putting it very lightly. If this had happened with a IHG or Hilton property they would've immediately refunded me the full amount. To be treated this way when I've been a loyal Marriott guest for a long time and spent a lot of money with them over the years is disgraceful. I will not be staying at Marriott hotels anymore after this experience I had with them. I do have to say though that Caleb who worked at the front desk was excellent and every interaction I had with him was nothing less than professional, extremely helpful and very pleasant. It's people like him who should be in management positions running a hotel.
