We specifically selected the options NOT to include insurance, but were charged anyway without our authorization after returning the car. Worse, after reporting the "accidental" charge to Payless we were told they had our cash and there was nothing we could do about it. There is a word for this: theft. We cancelled the charge through the credit company and have since learned that this is a systemic problem and Payless customers are routinely swindled with unreal charges after renting. This is simply how Payless does business. This is a shady company. Avoid at all costs.
