One of those things in life you just have to do if you visit New York, it was interesting to go and see and read some of the info about the statue etc, I'd advise anyone who's going to invest in the fast pass as the queues are ridiculously long otherwise, we got through in about 15 mins which wasn't too bad. Snacks and drinks can be bought on the ferry and are fairly reasonable.
