After two weeks of Hurricane Irma we wanted a quick get-a-way relxation trip to "dry out". Unfortunately, a tropical storm followed us to St. Augustine! Bayfront Marin had been hit by Irma as well and was doing some repairs during our stay, but it didn't really affect our stay. We had breakfast and happy hour either in our room, on our porch or in a room under repair and all was fantastic. The B & B guests were all a great group of understanding people and the staff couldn't have been better. The reviews talked of fantastic staff and they were right. The owners, service staff, construction people and cooking staff had a "can do" attitude whether they were youg or old and service was their goal. What a GREAT PLACE!! I will specifically mention Mary as her breakfasts were to die for!! What a great presonality! We can't wait for another visit, can't recommend Bayfront Marin House enough!! Thanks for a fantastic (although soggy) get-a-way weekend......
