Nice hotel as a starting point for a tour through the Gambia. For the standard of Gambia this hotel is very neat and clean. The pancakes at breakfast are tasty and the dinner is very good (despite the fact that they do not always have everything that is offered on the menu). The staff is friendly and willing to help you.

On the beach you are often approached by the locals, they do no harm but want contact.
