After my local dentist retired in 2015 I was referred to Heritage Dental. After my first visit I was impressed with the hygenist and was given an evaluation with recommendations for future dental work, this included an estimate for services. As I have no insurance I surveyed other dentists in the area for cost comparisons. Heritage cost per services was about 10 percent higher than average, but I felt the quality was worth the cost. After about 18 months and several very thorough cleanings I decided to schedule two fillings to be replaced. All went very well and the total cost was $365 paid in full per the estimate. Four months later I went in for my 6 month cleaning and check up. Upon completion I proceeded to pay for my services and was informed I had a outstanding balance of $324. I was informed that these were extra expenses for the fillings previously replaced. After review of the original contract and discussions with Dr Paul and the office manager there was no compromise. I paid the outstanding balance and have never looked back. Basically I paid $689 for two fillings. In conclusion integrity is lacking at Heritage Dental so beware.
