If you re ok with boutique hotels, this is probably ok for you. I m always reluctant because of the lack of standards. I took a chance on this one. The pros are that it is in a convenient location. That part was great. The architecture of the building was nice as well. Service was great. Food was good and well presented. My issues were in the details:
1. I was disappointed in the checkin experience. Granted, I was early and was put on the list for when a/the room became available for me - they would text to let me know. I waited in the lobby for almost 2 hours until I noticed a steady stream of new guests checking in. I never received that text.
2. My room was one that should never be given to a woman. The sink was in a corner and very limited counter space. While I was putting on my makeup, I had to put everything in the sink. I hope that all of the rooms are not that way.
3. There is a Keurig in the room, but it is stored very tightly on a cabinet shelf. When I tried pulling it out to make coffee. (No space to open the lid to insert the pod). There was not enough clearance to pull the tray over the lip of the shelf. So, no Keurig.
4. But there is a well-stocked refrigerator with filled Starbucks coffee drink. I pulled one out and took a drink before looking at the expiration date - expired! I looked at the other one and it was expired as well.
5. IMHO, electrical outlets are a basic requirement. I was able to find one outlet that I was able to use. I could position my plug above two outlets and drop and it would easily slide/fall in but of course was not tight enough to charge (I took a video, but am not able to upload here). With 3 devices to charge, it was a challenge each night to power-up. The clock radio had iPhone charging but it was the old style connector.
