The ER staff tries real hard but the space is inadequate to accommodate the areas needs.
My husband has been in the ER there at least three times and there are always
gurneys of sick people lined up and down the corridors, because there aren't enough bays to put them.
Thats why it takes FORVER to be seen and processed. One time, while in the ER, he even had to have his sever facial lacerations stitched by a plastic surgeon in a hallway while dozens of people (not medical staff) coming and going walked by. How sanitary. However, once you get beyond the ER experience, his care once he was admitted, was better. Still--not my first choice at all.
