Way more cool than I originally expected! This is a great place for out of town visitors or locals that want to learn more about the Dayton area. They have a park with several buildings for different times or subjects pertinent to Dayton history. Each building is modeled after the time or significant event / person. For example, there is a Wright brothers plane also available for viewing. Not all buildings have air conditioning and you do have to walk the park area to access all the buildings. The park is beautiful and there was way more history than I expected! And I've lived in the area for several years. You do have to pay to access the park but it is totally worth it! Great for kids!
There are also the carillon bells able to be heard and a demonstration of how it works. These are lit up during a ceremony near Christmas time.
There is also a brewery next door to the park / on site (but separate) that makes beer as they would have in the early times (1800-1900s?).
The brewery has a restaurant that serves German food. The brewery makes beer mostly on Friday and Saturday, not on Sundays (not sure about days during the week).
