I can tell you first hand that ALL the negative comments about this company are true. The responses from Matt Bernstein and Tracie Watt are lies to do damage control. Gaines Investment Trust owns many properties in the southwest United States. This company is like a modern day carpetbagger. DO NOT rent from one of their properties because they will rip you off when you move out. They prey on people to syphon off as much money as they can. In my case, they continued to charge me rent AFTER I moved out. When I disputed the charges, they hired a collection agency to harass me. They called my employer and threatened them to try and intimidate me. They are very aggressive in stealing as much money from you as possible. They are bullies. Unfortunately for them, I stand up to bullies and bloody their noses. I had to sue them in court to get my money back. In the end, I hurt them pretty bad. I cost them way more money to litigate, than they tried to take me for. So, justice was served. BEWARE!!! Read the negative reviews. Don t fall into the same trap. Look elsewhere. These people are crooks.
