We have enjoyed season tickets for many years. We have never written a comment about any of your great performances. However after last nights performance of Daddy Long Legs we can no longer resist.
When I first saw the program I had doubts about how only two actors could pull off a two hour play.
When we walked out at the end I was simply awe struck with Scout Smith. Most of the lines and songs of the play were hers alone. She moved around the stage with deliberate exactness and control. She did not miss a single cue. Each line she had down to exactness and right on time. What a memory! Her pronunciation, expressions, movements, emotions, singing and interaction with the favorite David Smith were impeccable. They worked so well together. (He has always been one of our most favorites). Somehow she needs to be nominated for the best actress of the year. We loved her!
Hopefully no one from Broadway discovers this super talented young women. We want to see her here again and again.
