Our first time to Center Parcs and it was great.

We arrived about 4pm and there was about a 5 minute queue - the staff we very welcoming and explained she out lodge was and gave us our wrist band which unlock your lodge.

The lodge was clean tidy and in a great location. The lodge had a lovely outlook in the forest and we were visited by ducks, squirrels and rabbits - the kids loved it.

We were about a 20 minute walk from the central plaza where the pool and restaurants are located. If you don't fancy walking there is a land train which stops all around the park every 20 minutes.

There are lots of activities to do as a family and it's easy to fill up a weekend.

The only downside is that most activities are very expensive - but all the ones we did are well run and the kids enjoyed them. They especially liked the woodland wheelers and boating on the lake.

If you don't have much budget - there is still lots to do especially the swimming pool which is really great fun with rapids and slides!

Overall it's not cheap - but we had a great time and I'm sure we'll go again!

Tip: it's a bit hidden away but the UKs tallest trees are in this park and worth a visit (they are marked on the map near the redwood area)
