We stayed for some days at the MGM Grand Hotel that belongs to the biggest (and to my mind the best) hotels in the world. You can easily lose your way if you try to get anywhere in the hotel.
First of all, the entrance hall has an impressive effect due to its enormous size and high-value new-looking interior.
Furthermore, the rooms were pretty, comfortable and clean, the food offered at the buffet was arranged very decoratively and tasted wonderful.
The only problem was the carpeted floor. We had to walk on it to get to our rooms. Every time I just only thought of touching a person or metal parts of a door afterwards, I got an electric shock. It made me wishing I could fly like a bird. There's no need for no one to report such accurately to each member of the hotel staff about every minutest detail. Nevertheless, the hotel staff demonstrated a sense of humor when hearing it, while I personally felt this was not amusing but sad.
More important, I really enjoyed our holidays. I also spent some time in the casino in the first floor and finally managed to win more money there than I had originally brought to the casino - an enjoyable, instructive and interesting experience.
Lastly, The evening lighting of the hotels in Las Vegas is very impressive - at least as long as you don't take the ecological footprint into account. After dinner, you might want to go for a walk and try your luck at the casino of your choice. I would recommend the casino of this luxury hotel.

Altogether, I don't regret the journey and would make the same decisions again.
See you soon.
