Stayed at this hotel and they charged $43 per day ...

Stayed at this hotel and they charged $43 per day as resort fee and the hotel site says it covers for things like Wi-Fi etc. But the irony is on my day1 of the stay the Wi-Fi of the entire hotel went down and I was with out Wi-Fi for whole night and next morning till noon.
Couple of my meetings which I was planning to attend from my room were effected because of the outage.
