I asked the folks to identify a part under the hood of an old Odyssey I own. I was very clear that I did not want a diagnosis and that the vehicle was not operable. Of the three people I spoke to, one had an idea of what it might be. After I described the part in more detail he didn't think that was what it was and went to see if he could find a diagram where I could point it out. Before he could return who I believe to be the service manager chimed in. He only offered that if I could have the vehicle towed there then they could diagnose the problem. I explained again that I did not want a diagnosis I only was hoping they could identify the part. I told him it's an old vehicle with really high mileage, I don't know if it's even worth fixing. At which point he could only offer that they couldn't help me unless I had the vehicle towed there. What we can be sure of is that I don't want to purchase any parts or service there. Honda makes great vehicles. I would recommend finding a dealer with good service to match. AutoNation Honda Thornton's representative has helped me to know with certainty this is not a place I would want to do business.
