I recently got back from my trip to Vegas where I stayed 6 days at The Four Seasons.

For those who were wondering why Four Seasons shows up as being in Manadalay Bay on maps is because the Four Seasons rooms are (physically) located on floor 35-38 of Mandalay Bay hotel. The difference is, Four Seasons has a separate hotel facade on the southeast side of the property. In addition, Four Seasons has a completely separate lobby, pool entrance, etc. However, the Four Seasons has instance access (through a set of controlled doors) to Mandalay Bay, the casino and all of the other Mandalay facilities. So - separate hotel but the same.

I really liked the fact that this hotel is isolated from the rest of Mandalay and the casino but you can (almost instantly) get into Mandalay facilities if so inclined.

Four Seasons is very quiet, not a ton of loud & annoying casino-lover foot traffic and the staff is quite attentitive but in a not-in-your-face kind of way (very low key.)

I stayed in one of the entry level rooms which was about 500 sq ft with a mountain side view (southwest) over looking Mandalay Beach. The room was spacious and clean with a nice big bathroom.

I had few issues with the Four Seasons:

1. Although there were several lamps in the room there was not a lot of bright light to help light up the room during the evening.

2. There was not a lot of window-space in this particular room (not sure if it was because I was very close to the center of the towers) or if it's standard. So, where a full sized window should be I had half of a window and the other half was a wall with mirror.

3. There was no refrigerator in the room (other than the wet bar fridge which you cannot fit a single thing into.)

4. Parking - non-existent unless you want to park at Mandalay and walk through 87 miles of casino to get to Four Seasons. There is a huge parking lot semi-next to the entrance of Four Seasons which is the convention center parking and then you have to walk through the Four Seasons driveways and exits to get to the hotel.

In conclusion, this is a decent priced hotel with nice ammentities that is part of the strip but at the complete tail-end of the strip. If you like to walk the strip you are better off staying closer to Paris, Flamingo, etc so you're in the center of stuff. If you want to just stay at one place and not venture out then Four Season/Mandalay is good too (there is plenty to do.)
