I ve been here several times before but have NEVER experienced such poor service.
First had the misfortune of sitting in the same area as the owner (had no idea). We had no idea who he was when we sat in the lounge area and probably would ve selected a different table.

It s the second seventy plus degree day and Chicagoans, like me, were dressed for two seasons - spring and winter. The restaurant was also HOT. No air was circulating and a door was open that was giving a nice breeze. The owner had the door closed and when I asked to have it opened- gave me a dirty look. I obliged and asked if a fan could be used or at least turn the air conditioning on to circulate the air.

For me THAT and the fact we waited for 45-minutes without anyone taking our food order. Our waiter treated us terribly. The owner may as well have called us n..ggas and told us to leave. But real service and the ADULT thing to do would have been to simply say, hey, I m closing the door for xyz reason and I would ve understood. But to be that blatantly rude to a customer WHO by the way is also i charge of corporate events and is always dining out and asked for recommendations isn t a good look.
I m spreading this experience with my entire network. A horrible experience and terrible service. TERRIBLE.
