This is the only airport in Kolkata. The check-in and check-out was smooth. You have get your luggage scanned at the scanner machine which are away from boarding pass counter. Its not like Delhi where you drop your check-in luggage at the counter and then issued boarding pass. You have to get your luggage scanned at different point and then drop the luggage at the counter. There are counters for Ola and Uber. The counter for pre-paid taxi was very crowded.
