The last time I was in India, visited Nepal thru this airport. On my way back, passed thru this airport. The staff here are always scheming to fleece passengers. For example, they will push a pax to buy 2 bottles of liquor, but withhold the free faux leather bag that comes with it as a free gift. I had to call a manager to get the bag that was due to me anyway, but which a young looking short guy tried to defraud me out of. BEWARE. And if possible make your purchases in other airports. Price is low here, granted, but the attitude is terrible.
