I had a stroke Thanksgiving 2015 in December I was laying in Froedtert brain trauma wing, I moved my finger on my paralyzed half of my body for the first time in 2 weeks. It MOVED! Hey doc.... IT MOVED! Dr. Ketchum said "looks like you are going to get some movement on that hand". My reply was "Dr. Ketchum, I love to ride my bicycle, next fall, I AM RIDING in the Maywood Earth Ride, so you better get busy". The Staff at Froedtert was busy, helpful and compassionate. The Following Sept 2016, I rode my bike 25 miles at the Maywood ride with my son.
