The worst online shopping experience I have had ever.

We purchased a Samsung TV online from Adorama. It was backordered for a few weeks, but eventually shipped in January. I received the TV, set it up and when turned on, the screen was completely ruined and had been damaged (presumably) in shipment. I contacted their service department and was sent a form to start a claims process with UPS. All of this is completely fine and expected from an online retailer, what wasn't expected was the attitude and wording of all correspondence I received. Essentially everyone who emailed me made it abundantly clear that if UPS did not except responsibility then I would not get a refund/exchange. Communication was slow and no attempt to replace the damaged TV was made. I was repeatedly told to "be patient". Even after UPS accepted the damage and was shipping the TV back to Adorama, I was still told to "be patient" as their warehouse is very large and handles over 5000 items per day. That my refund/exchange options may take up to 7 days once the receive the item. All in all it took about two weeks from the time the item was picked up to receive a refund. An exchange was not even offered. So after waiting for Cyber Monday deals to buy a TV and going with Adorama, I now have no TV and will never use this company again.
