What a great place! Camp Snoopy has rides for the younger set that includes a small wooden roller coaster and a suspended upright coaster.
The Fury 325 is a 90+ mph coaster that ranges from the back of the park all the way to the entrance and back. Nearly a dozen coasters and a new one on the way for 2019.
Summertime can be sweltering and lines can be long, but the fall weekends are a great price and have great online pricing. In fall some rides are closed as the high school and collegiate workers are back in class.
Cons: Parking can be upwards of $20, and regular ticket pricing is near $70. Take the time to look for deals. Food can be costly as well. Red Panda is a good place for a good sized plate of food.
Considering what most amusement parks go for, Carowinds is an outstanding experience.
