WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER! On two separate occasions I have waited outside the service department @ Jack Powell since before 7:00 am, eagerly anticipating the dealership's opening at 7:30. Both times, this place could not accommodate me for a simple service to my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, turning away my business as soon as the doors opened.

This morning, I merely wanted to have my a/c evacuated and recharged...a simple service which takes less than an hour to perform. I was told by the service technician that they could not get me in today, and that it would take 1 1/2 days to complete. After hearing that load of bologna, I told the tech that I would be taking my business elsewhere to another dealership in San Diego. Somewhat surprisingly, he had the balls to tell me that "there's no way they'll get you in today" as I turned around to leave.

After that, I immediately drove 25 minutes to Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Kearney Mesa, who were able to get my car in at 8:30 and out by 9:30. The process was quick and easy, just like it should have been, so I don't know what the deal is with Jack Powell. Absolutely terrible customer service there; I most strongly recommend avoiding the service department at all costs!
